It takes both skill and dedication to do what Mark does. I cut my teeth in writing with a small student magazine, hustling for money from corporate sponsors, negotiating with printers, deciding whether to cut back on colour pictures or 4 pages of content… it’s tough.
And that was back when the economy was still healthy – I can’t imagine what it’s like now.
And that was just a hobby. To stick out in that world for 5 years as a career is truly amazing.
