In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Women Deliver launched an interactive contest today to determine the top social enterprises for women and girls.
This annual tradition to honor International Women’s Day started in 2011, where they highlighted a list of 100 inspiring people working to improve the lives of women and girls. In 2012, they put a spotlight on 50 organizations and projects.
This year, Women Deliver teamed up with Echoing Green to select a list of 25 social enterprises that make a difference for women and girls. Beginning today until March 6th, anyone can go on their website and vote for their top 3 social enterprises.
The top 10 that win this Women Deliver Social Enterprise Challenge will be awarded a full scholarship to attend the Women Deliver 2013 conference in Malaysia this spring and a chance to compete at the “Pitch-Off”, as well as pro-bono legal services from Thomson Reuters Foundation’s TrustLaw Connect.
