YouTube is teaming up with See3 Communications for the 6th annual DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards. The awards seek nonprofits that made a video in 2011.
The contest is open to any nonprofit organization in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. To qualify, one must be a registered member of the YouTube Nonprofit Program.
There are four submission categories:
1) Best Small Organization Video – for organizations with an annual budget of $1,000,000 or less.
2) Best Medium Organization Video – for organizations with an annual budget between $1,000,000 and $5, 000,000.
3) Best Large Organization Video – for organizations with an annual budget of $5,000,000 or more.
4) Best Storytelling Video – for the best use of video to tell compelling, moving stories.
Winners of the contest will have their videos featured on the YouTube homepage on April 5th, receive $3,500 grants, and obtain free registration to the Nonprofit Technology Conference.
The deadline to enter is February 29, 2012.
