The Unreasonable Institute is for unreasonable people – those who do not adapt themselves to the world, but try to adapt the world to themselves. In other words, they change norms and are disruptive. Sometimes, they are called social entrepreneurs. And they are who the Unreasonable Institute is searching for.
The Boulder, Colorado-based training and mentorship program is searching for 10-20 early-stage ventures to participate in their fourth annual six-week acceleration course from June 12 to July 24, 2013.
Teams representing these companies will live with and learn from mentors who have done things at scale, like Paul Polak, who has helped over 19 million people out of poverty, or Tom Suddes, who has started 19 companies and raised over $1 billion in funding.
To date, the 70 companies that have attended the Unreasonable Institute have raised more than $23 million in funding. But securing funding is only one part of the puzzle. To scale a venture that will improve the lives of millions require the right resources, connections, and training, which is what the Unreasonable Institute aims to help with.

Applications close October 25, 2012.
